JOB PURPOSEThe Electrician is responsible for electrical work at the journeyman level.QUALIFICATIONSMust hold a Provincial Certificate of Qualification issued under the Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification Act as an Electrician. Must have two years of experience. Must have a valid drivers license.Ability to attend work on a regular basis.Ability to perform the duties of the position.Good work record.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Electrician is responsible for:Troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, testing and modifying electrical components of building systemsPerforming both demand and preventative maintenance on electrical components of building systemsPerforming the electrical aspects of new construction, installation and renovations for medical and non-medical systemsMaintaining the fire alarm systemInstalling and maintaining phone and data systemsDesigning control systems and wiring schematicsKeeping and maintaining records and documentationOrganizing and coordinating workEmployees are responsible to be aware of and understand Horizon's Terms of Employment COMPETENCIES IDENTIFIED BY HORIZON HEALTH NETWORK:Analytical ThinkingAttention to DetailCommunicationFlexibilityInterpersonal RelationsPatient/Client FocusProblem SolvingResults OrientationInterested?
