*Overview* J.CARE is a multidisciplinary team specializing in musculoskeletal pain and sports injuries, composed of physiotherapists, RMTs, acupuncturists, athletic therapists, and manual osteopaths. We are seeking a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who is enthusiastic about treating athletic clients as part of our expert musculoskeletal team. We serve a well-established and active patient population with a focus on private musculoskeletal care, sports injuries, and wellness. Our team excels in delivering hands-on treatment through unique manual therapy techniques exclusive to J.CARE, such as ASTR (Active Soft Tissue Release) and the HOOK TECHNIQUE, an advanced adaptation of ASTR. Originally developed by a Japanese orthopedic surgeon in Tokyo, ASTR is a specialized method practiced exclusively at J.CARE in North America. If you are passionate about hands-on manual therapy and dedicated to advancing patient care, we invite you to join our growing team. *Duties* - Perform various massage techniques to address clients' specific needs - Maintain detailed records of client consultations and treatment plans - Create a comfortable and relaxing environment for clients - Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction - Stay informed about current trends and advancements in the field of massage therapy *Qualifications* - Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in good standing with the CMTO - Proof of valid liability/malpractice insurance - Proficient in various massage techniques - Strong communication and customer service skills - Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus - Ability to adapt massage treatments to individual client needs Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship Pay: From $72.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Flexible schedule Flexible language requirement: * French not required Experience: * massage therapy: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Registered Massage Therapist in Ontario with CMTO (required) Work Location: In person- LocationToronto, ON
