Our Ultimate Yield Program is an organized agronomic and financial farm management system designed to increase efficiency for our growers. The Rack prides itself on using foundation agronomy in a holistic way, requiring full analysis of all aspects of management that ultimately determine final yield. POSITION SUMMARY:Research Summer Student will be responsible for working as a part of the Ultimate Yield research team to perform agronomic research with the goal of improving crop production. Research Associate will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance of and evaluating research plots. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist Research Team with a variety of related duties including; in-field operations, in-field data collection and office data managementAssist UY Team with agronomic duties including; scouting, tissue sampling and soil samplingOther Duties as Required EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:1+ years of post secondary with a focus in agriculture will be considered an assetPrevious work within the Agricultural field is an asset OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Detail oriented and ability for accurate data collection and data entrySelf-motivated team player with a positive attitudeAbility to work independentlyAbility to lift up to 50lbsEffective communicator ensuring timelines/deadlines are being met and all team members are kept updatedFamiliar with The Rack as a company along with products/services availableAbility to travel throughout Western SaskatchewanAble to work extended hours including evenings and weekendsValid Class 5 driver's license Interested in joining our Team?
