Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Noisy. Dusty. Hot. Heavy equipment. Work setting: Urban area. Remote location. Rural area. Construction site. Grading. Excavation. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Pave and rake asphalt. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Operate power vibrators to compact concrete. Fill moulds with concrete. Assist skilled tradespersons. Assist equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment or truck. Type of experience: Waterproofing. Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete vibrators. Circular saws. Concrete saws. Mortar and concrete mixers. Grinding machine. Jackhammers. Air compressors. Air guns. Nail guns. Drills. Trampers (Jumping Jack). Chain saw. Compactor. Hand tools.
