<p>Coop Carbone is looking for a motivated and inspiring person to complete its team of professionals specialized in supporting and implementing projects aimed at reducing GHG emissions.</p><p>Coop Carbone is a solidarity cooperative whose mission is to take action in the face of the climate emergency by supporting the implementation of collaborative projects. Active in the carbon market and in the construction, agriculture/agri-food and mobility sectors, Coop Carbone values relationships with its members and public and private partners to develop collaborative projects that create collective wealth.</p><p>For several years, Coop Carbone has been offering GHG quantification services to companies wishing to know their carbon footprint or wishing to implement GHG reduction initiatives. Beyond the assessments, we support companies and public organizations in their action for decarbonization. With a growing demand for our services, we are looking for a professional to complete our team and develop these services in the agricultural sector.</p><p><strong>Main functions</strong></p><p>Coop Carbone is looking for a professional with expertise in GHG data analysis in the agricultural sector, particularly in database processing and analysis, and in quantifying GHG emissions related to agricultural activities.</p><p>This person will have the necessary experience to understand the needs of the agricultural sector and the projects supervised by Coop Carbone colleagues, and translate them into IT solutions (in collaboration with an internal person occupying a solution architect role). She will also contribute to the development of innovative projects with these organizations and internal colleagues.</p><p><strong>Your tasks will consist of:</strong></p><ul><li>Participate in the development of the technological, financial and contractual aspects of different projects for our clients;</li><li>Carry out monitoring and various analyses of information related to decarbonization, GHG quantification, climate change in the agricultural sector, and other related topics;</li><li>Analyze agricultural GHG data from public databases, purchased by Coop Carbone or provided by the client;</li><li>Develop advanced tools on Excel, Power BI, or other relevant solutions;</li><li>Participate in the quantification of GHG emissions from various agricultural activities;</li><li>Write reports, analyze and synthesize information, and document the work performed;</li><li>Contribute to the production of content for the communication of analysis results;</li><li>Collaborate with internal expertise (energy, buildings, mobility, etc.) to develop cross-functional projects and complementary service offerings.</li></ul><p><strong>The profile sought</strong></p><ul><li>University degree in computer science or significant experience in the field;</li><li>Advanced mastery of Excel, Power BI, and data management skills;</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;</li><li>Strong adaptability, diversified technical knowledge and scientific versatility;</li><li>A keen sense of quality and excellent mathematical mind;</li><li>Ability to work in a team and with clients;</li><li>Good autonomy and orientation towards achieving objectives;</li><li>Excellent skills communication skills in French (written and verbal) and good English skills;</li><li>Availability to travel as part of the duties;</li><li>A strong interest in Coop Carbone's mission and the cooperative model.</li></ul><p><strong>Relevant assets:</strong></p><ul><li>ISO14064-1 and ISO14064-2 training;</li><li>Python development skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Working conditions</strong></p><ul><li>37.5 hours/week;</li><li>4 weeks of vacation and 13 statutory holidays;</li><li>Benefits (group insurance and group RRSP after 3 months);</li><li>Competitive salary;</li><li>Teleworking possible partially;</li><li>Flexible schedule;</li><li>Expected start date: as soon as possible;</li><li>Work location: Quebec or Montreal.</li
