UPDATING DATABASE FOR FUTURE OPPORTUNITIESNO START DATE FOR THIS POSITIONREPORTS TO: Technical Section LeaderDEPARTMENT: TechnicalSUPERVISES: N/ALOCATION: Offshore Newfoundland, CanadaJOB SUMMARY: Rig Mechanic is responsible for monitoring and maintenance of the mechanical equipment.PRE-REQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS: Marine Diesel Mechanics Certificate or Equivalent Combination of Experience and Training2 years' experience as a Rig Mechanic on 6th Generation Ultra-Deepwater Semi-Submersible or similar installation2 years' experience with AKMH, MH Wirth and MH Crown Compensator equipmentStructured and organized mindsetHigh level of integrityAnalytical abilityExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishMust pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background/Pre-Employment Screening ChecksDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform maintenance and repair work as well as fault-finding work on mechanical equipmentComply with proper maintenance procedures in accordance with company' s maintenance program.Update drawings of mechanical systems (P&ID) whenever changes are made.Responsible for mechanical workshop w/equipment.Observe to uncover any non-compliance and immediately report these to his superior.Participate in the emergency preparation organization as per muster list.Responsible for ensuring that all work is done safely and professionally and actively take part in safety meetings and other meetings.Emergency duties according to the unit's emergency organization.Perform other duties as assigned.The above is intended as a summary of the key requirements for the position and is not intended to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities.It is the objective of Puglisevich to ensure employment equity within the workplace.
