Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Work setting: Flour mill. Tasks: Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions. Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Supervision: 5-10 people. Process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing. Regulations knowledge: Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Knowledge of labour relations. Knowledge of preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Work under pressure. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Screening questions: Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
