Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components. Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.. Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made. Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Area of specialization: Cabinets. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate.
