*Full job description* We are looking for an Experienced Law Clerk to join our team. You must have at least 1 year of experience working on purchases, sales and mortgages. Our emphasis is on residential real estate, experience with commercial real estate being an asset. The ideal candidate will have experience with and be able to assume full carriage of real estate files. *Job Responsibilities and Skills of the Ideal Candidate are:* Carry of a file from beginning to end with minimal supervision, works well independently and be well organized Perform /review title searches and off-title searches, understand and interprets title searches, draft requisitions Order Title Insurance Policies Deal directly with financial institutions, municipalities, and land registry offices in a professional manner; Process files in the conveyancer efficiently and expeditiously Professionally and in a friendly manner communicate with clients, real estate agents, brokers, institutions etc. via phone, fax or email Deal directly with clients, financial institutions, municipalities, and land registry offices in a professional manner; Draft all documents required for closing Report to institutions and clients in a timely manner Work well in Teraview, Conveyancer and Microsoft Office Preparing reporting letters and accounts to clients promptly following closing Job Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive and Commensurate with Experience Please submit your resume and salary expectations, in confidence.
