Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Odours. Tasks: Mount plates or cylinders and make necessary adjustments. Prepare production schedules. Fill ink fountains and control colour and viscosity. Plan production methods. Estimate costs. Set up press and operate at slow speed to check samples. Instruct apprentices. Monitor regular press run for quality using computer control console. Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run. Set up and adjust in-line binding and finishing equipment. Direct press crew to set up, operate and shut down press. Type of press: Flexographic press. Offset press. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Criminal record check.
