*Job Summary*
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food preparation and presentation. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, and managing a team of cooks in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
*Duties*
* Lead and manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
* Develop and implement innovative menu items that reflect current food trends while maintaining the restaurant's identity.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
* Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and ensure teamwork.
* Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to maintain profitability.
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
* Conduct regular quality control checks on all dishes before they are served to guests.
* Stay updated on industry trends and continuously seek ways to improve kitchen efficiency.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the food service industry.
* Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team in a high-pressure environment.
* Familiarity with restaurant management practices, including inventory management and cost control.
* Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for creating delicious dishes that exceed guest expectations.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant schedule.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and guests alike.

Pay: $24.44-$25.29 per hour
