Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Millwork shop. Tasks: Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Professionalism in customer service. Keep a record of items received and delivered. Load and unload goods. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Transportation/travel experience: Local. Regional. Provincial/territorial. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Willing to travel for extended periods. Valid driver's licence. Travel expenses paid by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Overtime required. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Cellular phone. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Flexibility. Organized. Reliability.
