RWH Engineering is a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technologists specializing in construction, design, surveying, and project management. We are currently seeking a geotechnical engineer to join our team. The role will involve both office and site based duties. Duties/Responsibilities: - Prepare and review various geotechnical and inspection reports, geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring plans, and earthworks designs. - Work with project team members to complete projects and see them through from concept level to construction - Work with team of technicians and other engineers to deliver high quality solutions - Project management of your assigned projects - Site visits to review projects during construction -on site inspection and testing for geotechnical and specialty foundation works -Assist in installation of geotechnical monitoring instruments Requirements and Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in related field of engineering - P. Eng. designation in Ontario - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel - Ability to multi-task and be involved in a number of ongoing projects simultaneously - Strong attention to detail -Experience installing, maintaining and reporting on geotechnical instruments. Experience in temporary shoring, rail works or other heavy civil sectors is an asset. Please note that only candidates with currently holding P. Eng. designation for this role. This role may require occasional to frequent site based night and weekend work depending on the nature of our contracts.
