*Job Summary*
Ancaster Foot Fixer is a fast growing foot clinic and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chiropodist to join our healthcare team (NEW GRADS WELCOME). The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and be proficient in assessing and treating foot-related conditions. This role involves working with diverse patient populations and providing comprehensive assessments and treatments. Our practice is dedicated to providing exceptional foot care and values a highly sociable professional who is committed to delivering excellent patient care.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients' foot health and related conditions.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
* Provide care for patients with chronic pain management issues related to foot health.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes using electronic health record systems such as *Jane.*
* Provide a range of treatments including *foot care (routine nail and callus/corn care), custom foot orthotics, ultrasound therapy, wart treatments, shockwave therapy, nail procedures including NEC* (if the chiropodist is trained and certified) and other *soft tissue procedures*.
* Deliver outstanding patient care and engage effectively with clients.
* Educate patients on proper foot care practices and preventive measures.
* Administrative tasks such as, scheduling, payment processing, etc.
* College standard sterilization of tools.
*Requirements*
* Valid licensure as a Chiropodist in the relevant jurisdiction (Ontario).
* In good standing with with College (COCOO) and insurance companies.
* Experience in patient care.
* Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as *Jane*.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, staff, and other healthcare teams.
* A compassionate approach to pain management and patient education.
