Position #: 9001409 Expected Start Date: December 16, 2024 Union: SEIU Facility: Saskatoon City Hospital City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Surgical Pathology Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Hours of Work: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band 18 $41.980 to $44.970 (3 step range) Travel Required: No Job Description: Responsible for the initial examination and dissection of surgical specimens and dissection of bodies during post-mortem examination. Assists with research and instruction of Pathology interns/residents. Human Resources Exemption: No Education- Pathologist Assistant Masters ProgramLicenses- Canadian Association of Pathologists- American Society for Clinical PathologyCompetencies- Organizational skills- Basic - Computer skills- Analytical skills- Communication skills- Interpersonal skillsKnowledge and Abilities- Ability to work independentlyOther Information- Certification with Canadian Association of Pathologists and/or- Valid driver's license, where required- Official Description at: //www.working-for-health.ca/supportjobevaluation- Certification with the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
