*Position:* Sales and Marketing Manager
*Location: * Salish Soils, Sunshine Coast, BC (Hybrid: 2 days on-site, 2 days remote) *Work Schedule:* 32 hours per week (4 days)

*Position Overview:*
We are seeking a *Head of Sales and Marketing* to lead our efforts in driving revenue, building customer relationships, and elevating our brand in the sustainable waste and soil industry. A key position on our management team, this role is ideal for a proven leader with a background in sales and marketing, preferably within the soil, compost, landscaping, garden center, or waste management sectors. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop and market new products, manage customer relationships, and contribute to our mission of sustainability.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Sales Leadership:*
- Drive revenue through effective sales strategies and proven sales abilities.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage client relationships to secure long-term partnerships.
- Develop and execute strategies to sell soil, compost, aggregates, and services such as bin rental and tipping.
*Marketing Strategy and Execution:*
- Create and implement a comprehensive marketing roadmap.
- Develop and market new products with a customer-centric approach.
- Design and execute social media campaigns to build brand awareness and engagement.
- Integrate and manage a CRM system to enhance customer relationship management.
- Analyze marketing data and demonstrate how marketing investments translate into revenue growth.
*Product and Business Development:*
- Identify new market opportunities and trends in sustainability.
- Collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions and enhance the product line.
- Manage dynamic environments, adapting strategies as needed.
*Customer Focus:*
- Ensure the customer is at the center of all decisions, creating a seamless and satisfying experience.
-Create strong relationships with existing and potential clients to build loyalty and trust.
*Qualifications:*
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, with a strong track record of success.
- Preferred experience in soil, compost, landscaping, garden centre, or waste management sales and marketing.
- Strong ability to lead contract negotiations and drive business growth.
- Excellent design mindset, with the ability to develop innovative solutions and strategies.
- Demonstrated success in integrating and utilizing CRM systems.
- Proficiency in website, social media and digital marketing strategies.
- Ability to create a marketing roadmap and provide data-driven insights on marketing ROI.
- Strong interest in sustainability.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (2 days on-site, 2 days remote) and commute to the Sunshine Coast as required.
