It matters to us, and it matters to you!Oversee preventative maintenance program for seed production facility equipment and infrastructureMaintain and advance inventory system for equipment parts, spares and maintenance supplies, etc. while staying within budget and order timeliness.?Oversee the daily preventative maintenance activities for our Lethbridge locationCoordinate repairs of equipment as needed either in-house or outsourced as needed.Identify local and remote vendors of equipment maintenance, supplies and parts needed to maintain equipment.Utilize existing electronic process for maintenance schedule and recordkeeping.Implement and practice safety programs and policies as required by Corteva and or local regulations for maintenance activities?Managing labor to perform preventative maintenance tasks for the site.Coordinate with other groups to ensure key steps are completed in a collaborative manner.Communicate openly with team, supervisors, and other stakeholders on matters of relevance.Promote positive work attitudes and harmonious relations.Design and implement process improvements.Support other projects as needed or assigned.Adherence to all quality systems & safety procedures including Environmental regulations, in everyday work routine.Make recommendations for improved safety?Other tasks as needed by the companyRequirements:What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?When there is a problem, you see an exciting opportunity to troubleshoot so you can find and implement solutions!You have ?a High School diploma/GED equivalent with 3+ years of Equipment Maintenance experience or Trade School certificate in a Technical, Electrical, or Mechanical field, or equivalentWilling to train the right candidateYou have excellent Computer skills (Word, Excel, SAP)You know how to schedule work/jobs and you do a great job of following-up on completion status.You have a basic understanding of maintaining and repairing, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, mechanical power transmission systems, electrical systems, welding, and fabrication work.?You value serving your customers and know operations must be supported for optimal uptime, so you are willing and able to work hours required of this role to achieve that mission (this job is typically a day job but may require overtime hours including weekend work during our seasonal peaks).Ability to work outside in varying weather conditionsYou enjoy working as part of a larger, culturally diverse group, as well as independently when needed.You have a valid Driver?s License?Preferred:Experience planning and schedulingExperience working with preventative maintenance programsMaintain an organized workplace and have excellent critical thinking skills.Benefits ?
