Job details
*Responsibilities:* * Mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, laundry * Keep entire hospital, both inside and outside, clean and safe throughout the day * Stock housekeeping supplies as needed * Cleaning of restrooms on a daily basis * Cleaning up animal urine and feces * Light maintenance repairs * Must be able to lift at least 25 lb * Ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day *Qualifications:* * Should be a self-starter, hands-on, resourceful, and highly motivated individual * Be a team player who is friendly, animal-lover, with excellent customer service skills * Ability to solve practical problems with a positive attitude; sense of urgency towards meeting deadlines and resolving open issues * A passion for constant improvement - always looking to do things better * Able to lift up to 25lbs Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 ? 24 per week Benefits: * Casual dress * Employee assistance program * On-site parking * Store discount Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Every Weekend * Holidays Ability to commute/relocate: * Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Experience: * janitorial/custodian: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationToronto, ON
