The Carter Automotive Group is looking for an accounting clerk to join our team at Carter Cadillac. The duties would include the following but are not limited to: *A/P Job Duties* · Post payable invoices daily · Reconcile payables to AP schedule and customer statement · Investigate payment problems · Maintain sublet accounting schedule *A/R Job Duties* · Initiate credit and reference checks with credit instructions when necessary · Prepare and post daily deposits · Reconcile statement and collect accounts · Prepare monthly statements of accounts receivable · Takes telephone calls regarding accounts receivable and follows up on requests · Update customer account information · Identify and suggest appropriate action to deal with past due accounts and difficult cases *General Accounting Duties* · Review inventory schedules for accuracy · Review and reconcile deal schedules · Process on demand checks daily · Process and scan deals · General office administrative duties · Keep track of data in excel spreadsheets for management review · DR and CR knowledge is an asset *Qualifications:* * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Ability to handle tight deadlines and repetitive tasks *Application Process:* Thank you for considering this opportunity.
