French Immersion Posting <p><p>School District No. 73 (Kamloops-Thompson) is currently accepting applications for qualified French Immersion Teachers.<p>Interested applicants must possess a record of successful performance in a French Immersion classroom, Degree certification or a Professional Specialty Certificate in French Immersion, or complete a District assessment with oral and written components.<p>School District No. 73 is committed to building an inclusive culture for both our students and our staff. As such we continue to prioritize the hiring of a diverse, inclusive workforce that includes an emphasis on hiring more teachers with an Aboriginal ancestry.<p>The most important part of your application is ensuring that you submit all of the required documents when you apply in order to have your application considered complete.<p>Please ensure you have the following documentation in your application portfolio:<p><p> Cover letter<p> Resume including references (must include phone and email contact information for three professional references<p> British Columbia teaching certificate<p> TQS category card<p> Transcripts from all relevant post-secondary education<p> Practicum evaluation or recent teaching report<p><p><p>Salary as per the Collective Agreement. Current salary grid is $64,594 to $106,217, prorated to FTE. Placement on the grid is based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the Collective Agreement.<p>Benefits as per the Collective Agreement with option to enroll in medical, dental, extended health, and group life insurance.
