*FULL -TIME SHIPPING & RECEIVING POSITION ? METRO TRUCK GROUP, CALEDON LOCATION * The Metro Truck Group of companies is a full-service centre for all heavy truck and trailer needs. As our trusted brand continues to evolve, we are looking for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our Caledon Warehouse team! The Shipper and Receiver will be responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of all inbound and outbound shipments of heavy truck parts and accessories. This role involves managing inventory, preparing shipments, receiving deliveries, and ensuring the warehouse operates smoothly and efficiently. Therefore, we are looking for like-minded, adaptable, and ambitious individuals who pride themselves on a job well done to join our team! *What we have to offer:* * Competitive wage based on skill/experience * A fast paced and energetic work environment * Clean, well maintained and modern facility * Boot Allowance * Team oriented company culture * Room for advancement * _*Company provided benefits package*_ * _*Company provided Employee Assistance Program*_ * _*Company matching RRSP/DPSP Program*_ *Main Duties Include (but are not limited to):* * Prepare and process all outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness * Responsible for picking and assembling orders, preparing orders for shipment, and loading and unloading trucks * Responsible for receiving shipments by signing for incoming shipments, inspecting products, and ensuring proper and accurate paperwork is maintained * Receive and inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage * Verify shipment contents against packing lists and purchase orders * Receive, unload, sort orders and inter-company transfers accurately and in a timely manner * Marking incoming parts and stocking them in the stockroom * Perform a daily update as needed, as well as an annual intake of inventory * Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently * Report any issues or discrepancies to the Parts/Warehouse Manager promptly * Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers or vendors * Supportively work alongside all department colleagues * Accountable to maintain a safe, clean and efficient storage area * Must adhere to Metro Truck?s code of conduct and Health & Safety procedures * General housekeeping duties * _All other duties as assigned_ *Qualifications:* * Previous Shipping and Receiving / Warehouse experience preferred * Exceptional attention to detail * Strong organizational and time management skills * Position requires: standing, lifting, walking, bending, and occasional ladder use * Ability to follow instructions, and work both independently and as a team * Successful candidates will be big picture thinkers, honest and professional * _*Valid drivers license and/or reliable transportation to and from our Caledon location*_ _We recognize our continued success depends on the contributions of all our employees, which is why when you join our team, you will be joining a culture based on a commitment to quality, integrity and teamwork._ *Location: *13069 Airport Road, Caledon, ON L7C 2X5 *HOW TO APPLY:* * Please apply with Indeed/Company website using a current resume, with up to date contact information. * _*No phone calls, please.
