Installation. Remote location. Tasks: Install electrical controls and panel boxes. Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes. Professionalism in customer service. Install underground wiring and cables. Splice, join and connect wires. Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits. Troubleshoot and isolate faults. Install surface mount and/or overhead cables. Install power generation, stand-by power generation and power conditioning systems. Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs. Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Apprenticeship training: Level two apprenticeship training. Equipment and machinery experience: Generators. Conventional electrical devices. Motors and controls. Hand tools. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Willing to travel. Valid driver's licence. Travel expenses paid by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Overtime required. Tight deadlines. Own tools/equipment: Tools.
