Continuing Education, After School/Night School Technological Education Teacher <p>The Teacher will deliver Technological Education to current grade 9 students through a blended learning model.<p>Program Dates: Week of Feb 3, 2025 to Week of June 9, 2025<p> Available Position(s):<p> Subject to annual budget approval and/or annual system organization and/or sufficient program enrolment, the Board intends to offer the following Technological courses:<p>Holy Trinity <p>TAS1O -Blended Learning with 4 in class practicums<p> TXJ1O - Mon, Wed 3:15pm - 4:45pm, Blended Learning<p>TTJ1O - Mon, Wed 3:15pm - 4:45pm, Blended Learning <p>TCJ1O - Mon, Wed 3:15pm - 4:45pm, Blended Learning<p> <p>Assumption College <p>TFJ1O - Mondays, 3:15pm - 6:15pm, Blended Learning<p>TXJ1O - Mondays, 3:15pm - 6:15pm, Blended Learning<p>TTJ1O - Mondays, 3:15pm - 6:15pm, Blended Learning<p>TGJ1O - Mondays, 3:15pm - 6:15pm, Blended Learning<p> <p>St. John?s College <p>TEJ1O - Tuesdays, 4:00pm - 7pm, Blended Learning <p>TFJ1O - Tuesdays, 4:00pm - 7pm, Blended Learning<p> <p> Qualification(s):<p> In order to be considered, an applicant must hold the basic qualifications at the time of application:<p> Basic: Based on course - as noted above<p>Experience: Minimum of two (2) years teaching experience<p>Other: <p><p> Demonstrated ability to implement individualized programming both in terms of content and instructional strategies based on the diagnosis needs of the individual student<p> <p> Superior communication, interpersonal and organizational skills<p> Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, curriculum development and assessment/evaluation practices<p> Demonstrated understanding of effective assessment practices (e.g., Growing Success); and<p> Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.<p> Strong understanding of Brightspace D2L and eLearning <p><p> Duties and Responsibilities: <p><p> The Teacher will be responsible for planning, instructing, assessing and reporting the Technological Education course content.<p><p>About Us: <p>As a Catholic Learning Community, the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board provides faith formation and academic excellence, which enables our graduates to live a life of love and service in Christ. The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board provides a Christ-centered education to approximately 12,000 students within 28 elementary schools, 3 secondary schools and a multisite Alternative Education school and 3 administrative offices.<p>The Board currently employs over 1500 permanent staff and approximately 350 casual and occasional staff which includes teachers who are supported by a team of consultants, principals and administrators and non-academic staff who work to ensure the best possible facilities, supports and resources are available to our students and the system. The Board encompasses the broad geographical area of the City of Brantford and the counties of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk.
