*Job Summary* TransDirect Freightlines Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Clerk, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers. *Duties* * Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies * Prepare and process weekly check and EFT runs * Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. * Utilize QuickBooks & TMS for daily operations. * Accurately process and maintain financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents. * Perform data entry and ensure all financial information is up-to-date and accurate. * Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures. * Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to resolve discrepancies. *Skills* * Post-secondary education in administration is desired * 1-2 years relevant experience is desired * Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable management. * Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
