``` Duties: - Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently - Provide menu recommendations and answer customer inquiries about ingredients and preparation methods - Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food to tables - Monitor tables and promptly address any customer needs or requests - Prepare and serve beverages, such as coffee, tea, and soft drinks - Process customer payments and handle cash transactions - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service Qualifications: - Previous experience in customer service or the food industry is preferred but not required - Knowledge of basic math for handling payments and making change - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is a plus Skills: - Customer service: Providing excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction - Food preparation: Assisting in the preparation of food items as needed - Hospitality: Creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers - Food handling: Safely handling food products to maintain quality and prevent contamination - Kitchen: Assisting with various tasks in the kitchen, such as plating dishes or preparing ingredients - Food safety: Following proper sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment - Basic math: Performing calculations for cash transactions and order totals accurately - Sanitation: Maintaining cleanliness standards in dining areas and adhering to hygiene protocols - Food service: Delivering food items to customers' tables promptly and accurately - Cash handling: Processing payments, making change, and managing cash transactions Please note that this is a general job description for a Server position.
