*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
* Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
* Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
* Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
* Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
* Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
* Handle administrative tasks such as filing, billing, and insurance verification.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred; familiarity with orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus.
* Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures is essential.
* Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable.
* Experience with CAD technology is an advantage.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
