Rotech Pumps is a pump design and manufacturing company looking to expand our warehouse team. Our company is a fast growing, industrial pump manufacturer located globally, our company is focused on providing the highest quality customer experience.
We are looking to add a team member who can help support manual machining and fabrication responsibilities.
Responsibilities of Position
* Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances (± 0.0001 in) using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
* Perform manual precision machining of regular size parts and large diameter parts to standard specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, boring, and grinders.
* Able to perform set up, adjustment and operation all of the basic machine tools to perform machining operations.
* Efficient in manually aligning large parts and secure onto holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
* Attentive monitoring the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
* Reviewing sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product dimensions and precise tolerances.
* Selecting the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work.
* Layout, measuring and marking metal stock in order to display placement of cuts.
* Ability to follow standard procedures and customer's specified requirements.
* Must be detail oriented and focus on accuracy of work.
*Qualification*
* · Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
* · Basic manual machining experience, including use of lathes, milling machines, grinders and drill presses, etc.
* · Knowledge of basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and their applications.
* · High school diploma or equivalent technical training.
* · At least 3 years? experience interpreting basic mechanical drawings.
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs
*Nice to Have*
* Forklift (counterbalance) certified
* MIG Welding / Fabrication experience
* Experience or exposure to production / mechanic background
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
