*Job Summary* We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting furniture and appliances while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality service. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate delivery vehicle to transport furniture and appliances to various customers within London, Ontario area. * Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. * Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper handling of items. * Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status. * Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. * Assist in the maintenance and minor repairs of the delivery vehicle as needed. *Skills* * Proven experience in commercial driving or freight transportation is preferred. * Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus. * Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. * Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. * Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. * A valid G driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
