*Overview*
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and food preparation, with the ability to lead a kitchen team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, and maintaining a positive work environment.
*Duties*
* Plan and create innovative menus that reflect current food trends and customer preferences.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
* Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
* Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
* Train new kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and restaurant policies.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
* Assist in bartending duties as needed during peak service times.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
* Strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques across various cuisines.
* Excellent leadership abilities with experience supervising kitchen staff.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
