We are currently seeking a reliable, experienced, and empathetic Dementia Caregiver to join our team and support clients living with dementia. Key Responsibilities: ? Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility. ? Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders. ? Assist with light housekeeping and errands as needed. ? Engage clients in meaningful activities that stimulate cognitive and emotional well-being. ? Maintain a safe and calm environment to minimize confusion or anxiety. ? Monitor and report changes in the client?s condition to family members or supervisors. ? Demonstrate patience, understanding, and kindness in all interactions. Qualifications: ? Previous experience in dementia or Alzheimer?s care is required. ? Certification in Health Care Aide, Personal Support Worker, or related field is an asset. ? Knowledge of dementia care strategies and techniques. ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ? Reliable transportation (having a car is preferred). ? Ability to work independently and handle challenging situations with professionalism. ?
