Pembina Hills School Division and cole Barrhead Elementary School invites applications for the position of Temporary Educational Assistant Mentor. This role is an element of the divisions Education Plan. The primary purpose of the role is to develop and sustain capacity of support staff working with Tier 2 and 3 students, and in particular, those with challenging behaviors associated with mental and emotional conditions and or issues that affect learning. Specifically, the purpose of the Educational Assistant Mentor is to expand the skill set of Educational Assistants in schools to work with identified students and their teachers. Duties to commence December 2, 2024 and will end June 27, 2025. Hours of work will be Monday-Friday at 7.5 hours/day following the school calendar. <p>The Division<p>Pembina Hills School Division provides education to approximately 3800 students in 15 community schools in north central Alberta.
