Cashiers deal directly with the public and will welcome each customer to the store with a friendly and polite greeting. Cashiers will either have prior experience operating a cashier till or are willing to be trained on the till. Cashiers will adhere to all policies and procedures set out by Kahkewistahaw Gas and Convenience Store. Duties and Responsibilities:- Acknowledge and greet each customer who enters the store.- Be able to balance till float at start and end of shift.- Ensure float discrepancies are recorded.- Maintain a clean and friendly retail atmosphere.- Answer and resolve customer questions and concerns.- Offer customers to sign up for Petro Canada Rewards.- Provide information about products and any current promotions.- Sell and promote lottery sales.- Verify Status Cards for fuel and tobacco sales.- Verify I.D for tobacco and lottery sales.- Act as a goodwill ambassador for Kahkewistahaw Gas and Convenience Store. Required Skills and Abilities:1. Exceptional customer service.2. Attention to detail.3. Willingness to learn POS. 4. Possess excellent communication skills.5. Be able to work independently and cooperatively as a team.6. Take direction well and helpful to other staff.7. Multi-task in a fast paced work environment.8.
