<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>We require 1 full-time Accounting Technician</p><p>Education & Qualifications<br />The candidate should have a degree/ diploma in accounting, bookkeeping and/or business administration or equivalent experience.</p><p>Experience<br />Extensive experience with Sage 50, Quickbooks Desktop, and Quickbooks Online accounting packages, and Microsoft Office Suite are required. General knowledge of local labour laws, sales tax regulations, and familiarity with any Quickbooks Online integrated applications, and Personal Income Tax preparation would be considered assets.</p><p>Full cycle bookkeeping functions:</p><p>- Entering payables and receivables</p><p>- Entering deposits and payments</p><p>- Processing payroll (paychecks, payroll remittances, record of employments, T4's and summaries)</p><p>- Filing GST/HST returns</p><p>- Filing Worksafe NB assessments</p><p>- Conducting bank and credit card reconciliations</p><p>- Creating financial statements</p><p>- Calculating financial projections</p><p>- Maintaining client confidence, providing advice and recommendations</p><p>- Communicating with local and Federal tax authorities on client's behalf</p><p>- Other administrative duties are required</p><p>Other essential skills:</p><p>- Client confidentiality</p><p>- Highly accurate and efficient data entry skills</p><p>- Attention to detail</p><p>- Strong written and verbal communication skills</p><p>- Able to work with deadlines</p><p>- Strong ability to multitask, stay organized and an ability to prioritize tasks</p></div>Company Description<div>We are an accounting practice providing bookkeeping, corporate and income tax preparation, and outsourced accounting and finance services</div></div><h3>Company Description</h3><div>We are an accounting practice providing bookkeeping, corporate and income tax preparation, and outsourced accounting and finance services</div>- LocationFredericton, NB
