Roto-Rooter is looking for a red seal plumber to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems for residential and commercial sites. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively. No on call rotation work required and a retention bonus! Job Description: * Install, repair and maintain drainage and plumbing systems in residential and commercial applications. * Install, repair and maintain natural gas and propane systems in residential and commercial applications. * Collaborate with general contractors, electricians and fellow colleagues on drainage and plumbing repairs. * Follow building code, blueprints and estimated work tasks. * Respond to, diagnose and resolve drainage and plumbing emergencies. * Conduct inspection of drainage and plumbing systems as required. * Keep accurate records of timesheets, hand in all paperwork and complete all billing with detailed work description each day. * Provide repair and upgrade estimates for customers when required. Qualifications & Abilities: * Qualification as a red seal plumber * Drivers license with clean abstract * Gas fitting ticket and back flow tester qualification an asset * Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude * Proficient in using power tools and hand tools * Basic math skills for measurements and calculations * Ability to assemble, build, and maintain plumbing systems * Knowledge of carpentry techniques for pipe fitting and installation * Excellent problem-solving skills * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to use technology including email and tablet software.
