Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Commercial laundry. Tasks: Arrange for maintenance and repair work. Be the point of contact when in need to handle emergency situations. Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise operation of mechanical equipment and machinery. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Wash or dry-clean industrial or household articles. Establish work schedules and procedures. Supervision: 5-10 people. Laundry workers. Personal suitability: Client focus.
