We are looking for a experienced Truck driver to Transport frozen finished goods (Mainly poultry products & pick ups). locally (Short Haul) Toronto area, in a safe & timely manner. In a refrigerated double axles & air breaks _*Responsibilities *_ * _Comply with Truck driving rules & regulation, (size, weight, route designations, parking, )_ _as well as with company policies & procedures._ * _Plan route & & meet delivery schedule._ * _inspect truck for mechanical items,safety issues, preventive maintenance and circle checks. _ * _Document Kilometers & retain fuel receipts._ _*Requirements*_ * _Driver License (Class 3 or D), air break (Z) endorsement._ * _Proven work experience as a truck driver. __*(5 years or More)*_ * _Extensive Knowledge of application truck driving rules & regulations._ * _No recent moving or driving violations._ * _Adaption & foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)._ * _Familiarity with HACCP an asset _but not essential. * _Steel toe boots required_ * _MUST have clean driving record._ _Medical benefits avail after 3 months _ *MUST HAVE 5 YEARS ROAD EXPERIENCE TO APPLY* Job Type: Full-time Salary: $23.00-$26.00 per hour Application Questions You have requested that Indeed ask candidates the following questions: * How many years of class DZ experience do you have? * How many years of truck driver experience do you have? * Are you in Niagara Falls, ON? * Can you drive manual 10 speed split shift ?
