The Opportunity:Company, Department: Nova Scotia Power, Office of the CCEO Location: Halifax, NS Closing Date: December 11th, 2024 Reporting to the Senior Corporate Accountant, the Corporate Accountant, ECEI is a member of the Capital Finance team and is responsible for the preparation and review of NSPI's financial results and reporting related to Eastern Clean Energy Initiative capital projects. Key elements of this role include::Supporting the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process to ensure financial results are complete and accurate, Completing monthly internal control procedures in a timely manner, Collaborating with the ECEI team to prepare budgets and forecasts, Reporting on project variance analysis to budget and forecasts, Assisting with the preparation of the Company's quarterly and annual external Financial- LocationHalifax, NS
