*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and assemble components accurately. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all welding projects. *Duties* * Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, and stick welding, to fabricate and assemble metal components. * Full Time Position Duties : Mig welding, all positions load jigs and weld a wide range of products in a manner that meets production targets Meet or exceed production numbers while maintaining quality and consistency Inspect welding machines prior to use and immediately notify supervisor of any faulty equipment Operate hoisting and lifting equipment Welding Experience: Apprentice welders only; no Journeyman Production welding experience is an asset Experience welding thin wall mild steel an asset Blueprint reading experience is an asset Preferences: Good attendance and attitude a must Must be a self-motivated person Must work safely and must work well with others Must be able to work at a fast pace to keep up with production targets Workplace Safety: First aid certificate is an asset Physical Condition: must be physically fit and capable of lifting - 75 lbs. ; push/pull - 100 lbs. Language: Candidate should have some proficiency in English (can understand oral and written communications) Essential Skills: Reading production directions and drawings, Basic math skills, English oral communication, working with others, problem solving, decision making, job task planning and organizing, , continuous learning. Work Setting: Our facilities are clean, well-organized and focused on quality and consistency. Work Location: 8447-23rd Ave N.E.
