We think about the customer and make doing business with McCain easy. McCain Foods (Canada) is currently seeking an Engineering and Maintenance Manager for our Coaldale complex. Reporting to the Plant Managers, the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and utilities of all buildings, equipment and property owned by McCain Foods that fall under the control of McCain Foods (Coaldale Potato). Design, develop, and manage mechanical processes, conveyance and pumping systems including service generation and distribution, for plant operations and expansions using state-of-the-art technologies. Fills in for maintenance manager and environmental supervisor in their absence.Implement McCain Driving Impact (MDI) and Lean Manufacturing practices relative to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP).Interface with engineers to define project scope requirements and incorporate corporate standards.Oversee the design and review of equipment and systems using corporate standards.Acquire and negotiate project contractor bids.Manage capital projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
