Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Kennel. Tasks: Bathe and shampoo animals. Prepare food and feed animals. Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures. Supervise helpers. Clean animal ears. Maintain and order supplies. Clip animal nails. Type of pets groomed: All breeds of dogs. Animal specialization: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.). Hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, etc.. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Fast-paced environment. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Judgement. Reliability.
