*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Cook *(Continental & Indian)* to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in meal preparation, food safety, and kitchen management. As the Head Cook, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and service, ensuring that our standards of quality and efficiency are met. *Duties* * Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. * Plan and prepare meals in accordance with established recipes and menu guidelines. * Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety and handling standards. * Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as necessary. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. * Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures. * Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. * Handle any customer inquiries or complaints regarding food quality or service. *Experience* * Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment is required. * Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques, food handling, and safety regulations. * Experience in managing kitchen staff is preferred. * Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
