We are committed to innovation, excellence, and delivering outstanding value to our clients. *Job Summary:* We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our accounting and finance functions, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting and analysis. *Duties & Responsibilities:* _Accounting:_ * Assist with the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals. * Manage monthly billings, intercompany transactions, and progress invoices. * Update Fixed Asset Schedules and record depreciation, interest, and other prepaids for month-end. * Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including fuel and shop accounts, and direct cost entries. * Support monthly job cost reporting, including Unbilled, WIP (Work in Progress), and WOH (Work on Hand) reports, as well as proforma reporting. * Ensure bids and estimates are accurately entered into the accounting software. * Set up jobs, cost codes, and accounts as needed. * Remit Employer Health Tax (EHT) and Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) contributions. _Analysis & Reporting:_ * Assist in preparing and distributing monthly financial statements. * Respond to ad hoc reporting requests and auditor queries. * Provide job cost analysis and address related inquiries. *Qualifications:* * A CPA designation or accounting diploma with a proven track record in a related finance position. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, ensuring timely and accurate costing. * Advanced proficiency in sophisticated computer applications, including Excel and query-based reporting tools. *What We Offer:* * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * A collaborative and innovative work environment. * The chance to make a significant impact in a growing company. *How to Apply:* If you are a motivated accounting professional eager to make an impact, we?d love to hear from you!
