Job details
Responsibilities: - Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings - Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete remodeling projects - Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout and installation of plumbing systems - Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required for the job - Use pipe threading equipment to cut, thread, and assemble pipes - Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions - Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations Requirements: - Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or equivalent certification - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems - Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for commercial driving purposes - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with the trade - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Experience in commercial plumbing is preferred but not required -Experience Troubleshooting residential HVAC systems and boilers preferred but not required. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Commission pay * Overtime pay Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * On call * Overtime * Weekends as needed Education: * AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred) Experience: * plumbing: 5 years (required) * journeyman: 5 years (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-12-16- LocationEdmonton, AB
