<p>Hello, I'm Rayan MERRIEN, Recruitment Consultant FED ManuTech, a specialist in temporary and permanent recruitment for the engineering and manufacturing professions. <br>We're experts who speak your language. <br>We are committed to supporting you throughout your job search and at every stage of your career.</p><p>Your position <br> <br>I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Manager for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the transportation sector located in Boucherville. <br> <br>Permanent position 40h/week - hybrid <br> <br>Reporting to the Engineering Project Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks : <br> <br>- Define and maintain standards for 3D model creation, technical drawing management and project review <br>- Optimize the use of the data vault <br>- Train and support teams in good design practices, <br>- Support the engineering team in the implementation and continuous improvement of design processes and tools. <br>- Analyze assembly projects, identify anomalies or inconsistencies, and coordinate their correction with stakeholders. <br>- Provide regular and constructive feedback to team members, to encourage their development and improve project results.</p><p>Your professional skills <br> <br>- Priority management and rigor <br>- Pedagogical and analytical skills <br>- Excellent communication skills <br> <br>We're looking for a proactive, autonomous person who likes a job well done. Our ideal candidate is passionate, likes dynamic environments, is rigorous, and likes to work in teams. <br> <br>Your profile <br> <br>-Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical design <br>-DEC or BAC in mechanical engineering or any other relevant field <br>-Experience in team management an asset <br>-Experience in implementing vaults, standards and processes, and improving engineering processes <br>-Knowledge of the transportation manufacturing industry <br>-Knowledge of electricity and automotive mechanics, an asset <br>-Knowledge of AutoDesk Inventor, an asset <br>-Able to adapt to various work environments, able to work in English. <br> <br> <br>- Salary: $80k - $100k depending on experience <br>- 40h/week position.
