*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities* * Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. * Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans in the dental software. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. * Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations and high-quality care. * Handle administrative tasks as needed, including managing inventory of supplies. *Experience* * Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn. * Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and equipment is essential. * Experience with dental software such as Dentrix or Epic is a plus. * Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) applications for orthodontics is advantageous. * Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is desirable but not required. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
