*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all regulations and company policies. *Responsibilities* * Operate and drive trucks to transport freight to designated locations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. * Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. * Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving. * Perform basic maintenance on the truck, including checking fluid levels and conducting minor repairs as needed. * Utilize forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary for loading and unloading freight. *Qualifications* * Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. * Proven experience in commercial driving or freight transportation is preferred. * Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus, as it aids in performing minor maintenance tasks. * Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is beneficial for loading and unloading processes. * Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. * Willingness to adhere to safety protocols at all times.
