*Old Yale Brewing* is opening a third location in Beaumont, Alberta! The 11,000 sq ft, 400-seat Craft Brewery + Kitchen located in Beaumont will be home to our 7.5-hectoliter Brewery, the indoor Games Lodge, our Little Explorers Corner and our Old Yale Beer & Gear Store. With 3 patios, 20 beers on tap, our selection of Wine, Cider and Cocktails and our campfire-inspired menu that suits every appetite, you?ll find that you can always count on Old Yale Brewing for delicious food, great beer and even better friends With this exciting expansion, we need an *Assistant* *General Manager* to join Team OYB to help with all the preparation of our opening! As the Assistant General Manager, you?ll be at the forefront of our operations, working closely with the General Manager to strengthen our passion and creativity that ultimately ensures that every customer interaction is nothing short of extraordinary. *Please note that this position will require travel to Abbotsford, BC for training purposes.* Core job responsibilities: · Assist in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including team member management, scheduling, inventory management, quality control, etc. · Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining and carrying out OYB?s high standards of service and hospitality. · Consistently contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to drive revenue and profitability. · Work alongside the management team to help train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance. · Assist in various administrative tasks such as payroll, reporting, inventory management, etc. Who you are: ·You have an unwavering positive and passionate attitude when it comes to working with people! ·You are looking to create genuine and authentic connections with those around you. ·You have a strong drive and eagerness to constantly learn and take on new challenges. · You always are willing to roll up your sleeve to help out and get the job done regardless of your title, role, or duties. · You?re the kind of person we?d like to have a beer around the campfire with. Job Qualifications: ·A minimum of 2 years of direct-related experience in a similar role within the hospitality setting and well-rounded knowledge of restaurant operations. · Strong leadership skills with the ability to make genuine connections, motivate and inspire our team members. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Have a strong ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. · Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and other various hours.
