Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and off highway/on highway log hauling. Current configuration is a long logger (tridem-tridem) but experience with short logs would come in handy. If you are a skilled driver with a passion for the road, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: - Safely operate a heavy-duty truck to transport goods over short and long distances - Load and unload cargo following safety protocols - Plan routes and meet delivery schedules - Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues - Maintain accurate driving logs - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations -Experience chaining up and winter mountain driving required. - Must have knowledge of resource road use and radio procedures. Experience: - Proven experience as a truck driver - Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus - Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous Requirements: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) - Clean driving record with no traffic violations - Strong communication skills Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $130,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Commission pay Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Night shift * Weekends as needed Experience: * Logging truck: 5 years (required) Work Location: On the road- LocationVernon, BC
