Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Confined spaces. Cold/refrigerated. Dusty. Hot. Work setting: Construction. Service. Repair. Various locations. Maintenance. Residential. Troubleshooting/diagnostic. Tasks: Install electrical controls and panel boxes. Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes. Professionalism in customer service. Splice, join and connect wires. Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits. Troubleshoot and isolate faults. Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs. Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. Commission systems and components. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Electrician Trade Certification. Apprenticeship training: Level two apprenticeship training. Equipment and machinery experience: HVAC. Area of specialization: Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Vehicle supplied by employer. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Overtime required. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Hard hat. Personal suitability: Client focus. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Initiative. Organized. Team player.
