*Position Overview*
Schembri Property Management is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Property Manager to join our team. The Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operational and financial performance of our commercial and residential property portfolio. We are looking for a candidate who is highly organized, detailed-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing both residential and commercial properties.
*Responsibilities*
* Oversee all aspects of property management, including leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and financial performance.
* Develop and implement strategies to optimize occupancy rates and rental income.
* Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure they are well maintained.
* Ensure effective communication and positive relationships with tenants.
* Address and resolve tenant concerns, complaints, and maintenance issues in a timely manner.
* Be on-call for after-hour emergencies.
* Mentor and oversee leasing agents and marketing team to attract and retain high-quality tenants.
* Prepare and manage property budgets, including rent collection and expense management.
* Prepare and deliver timely, accurate and complete variance reporting and accruals on a monthly basis, and other reporting for portfolio to the Vice President, as required.
* Ensure property management practices comply with all applicable laws, regulations and industry standards.
* Maintain up to date knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
* Negotiate and manage contracts to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.
* Develop strong relations with tenants, contractors, vendors and other real estate professionals.
* Work with in-house staff or contractors for cleaning, security, maintenance, parking, grounds keeping and onsite management personnel if required.
* Build, maintain and update annual maintenance plan
* Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.
*Qualifications:*
* Proven experience in managing a portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
* Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for site visits.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Highly organized and detailed-oriented.
* Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
